Sicily has just made a new incentive for people moving from abroad operational: potentially up to €100,000 a year for three years. Add Italy’s special regimes for incoming workers, foreign pensioners, researchers and wealthy new residents, and suddenly moving to Sicily can look remarkably attractive.
But there is a catch: these incentives are not simply benefits you can stack. So the real question is not “How much can Sicily give me?” It is “Which route, if any, actually makes sense for me?”
