Italian spirits producers are demonstrating remarkable resilience in an increasingly challenging international marketplace. Despite weaker global demand, geopolitical uncertainty and changing consumer habits, Italy's spirits exports reached €1.7 billion in 2025, confirming the industry's ability to remain competitive while continuing to expand its international presence.
Although exports declined 5% compared with 2024, the longer-term picture remains highly positive. Since 2019, overseas sales have increased by 33.7%, highlighting the sustained global appeal of Italian distillates and the industry's success in building new markets over the past several years.
