The Los Angeles Italian American Golf Association (LAIAGA) announced that registration is open for its Annual Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12, 2026 (Columbus Day), at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, California.
The nonprofit event will unite golfers, business leaders, community organizations and volunteers to raise funds supporting scholarships for students in the Italian Studies Program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
The annual tournament will feature 18 holes of golf, contests, raffle prizes, a silent auction, breakfast, lunch, dinner and an awards presentation. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting higher education while increasing their visibility within the Southern California community.
For more than four decades, LAIAGA has combined a passion for golf with a commitment to charitable giving. Funds raised through the tournament help provide educational opportunities for students pursuing Italian language and cultural studies while strengthening the organization's mission to preserve and celebrate Italian heritage.
The event is expected to draw golfers of all skill levels, local business owners, civic leaders and community supporters. In addition to scholarship funding, the tournament offers participants an opportunity to network, build new relationships and support a cause that benefits future generations.
