Little Falls celebrated Italian American Heritage and Culture Month with a flag-raising ceremony outside Town Hall on Oct. 5, recognizing the contributions of Italian Americans and the local organizations working to preserve their heritage.
Mayor James Damiano highlighted the significance of the month, which has been celebrated nationally since 1989. The Township's proclamation recognized the contributions of Italian Americans to government, science, technology, arts and entertainment, literature, design and food.
