In an evening full of drinks, authentic Italian dinners, cigar rollers, bottle engravings, and spectacular singing, La Piazza in Allentown celebrated Frank Sinatra’s half birthday with a Frank Sinatra event night on Saturday. Sal Lopresti, the restaurant's owner, told TAPinto that his brother and dad started the restaurant in 1998, and since then it has become known for its family recipes and Italian specialties.
“We just started putting this together probably about two months ago," he said of the restaurant's first ever Sinatra celebration. “It was just to gear up for celebrating his real birthday, which will be December 12th. So, it was like a preliminary event for his next big birthday.”
