According to the latest projections presented at the BIT – the International Tourism Exchange in Milan – the overall value of Italy’s travel economy is expected to approach €280 billion this year.
That figure includes direct, indirect, and induced impacts, underscoring how deeply tourism influences national growth, employment, and investment.
