For 97% of Italians, eating well is essential to preventing diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions and obesity. This strong national awareness emerges from the new Coldiretti–Censis report “Eating Well to Live Better,” which examines the relationship between Italians, nutrition and personal well-being.
The findings confirm that food is increasingly viewed as an important form of everyday prevention. Italians want products that are healthy, recognizable and connected to a specific place of origin. Some 88% of respondents want to know where their food and its ingredients actually come from, demonstrating the growing value placed on transparency and traceability.
