New York's Carnegie Hall celebrated Italian talent and achievement on October 10, 2026, hosting the third edition of the Italian Reputation Awards, an event recognizing individuals who strengthen Italy's international reputation through their professional and cultural contributions.
Created by Davide Ippolito, founder and president of Italia America Reputation Lab, the awards were organized in collaboration with Campus Salute, led by Pasquale Antonio Riccio, and Piazza Italia New York.
Among the honorees was Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal, recognized for strengthening institutional ties between New York and Rome through a cultural cooperation agreement.
Andrea Mazzucchi, rector of the University of Naples Federico II, founded in 1224, received an award celebrating academic excellence. Other recipients included Federmanager President Valter Quercioli, entrepreneur and former football player Nick Eyde, artist Aldo Gallina, healthcare executive Concetto “Tino” Ruta, and basketball professional Riccardo Fois.
A particularly inspiring moment was the presentation of the Young Leader Under 30 Award to Greta Fraraccio, an athlete and entrepreneur from Isernia, Molise, selected from 14 candidates.
The ceremony also recognized Campus Salute, which has provided more than 150,000 free preventive medical screenings, including initiatives serving New York's Italian community.
Hosted by journalist Cristiana Mancini, the evening featured the Italian and American national anthems performed by students from Scuola d'Italia Guglielmo Marconi.
Each recipient received a handcrafted medal created by Italian goldsmith Marco De Luca.
The celebration continued at Piazza Italia's offices in Times Square, reinforcing the growing connections between Italian excellence, American opportunity, and the international Italian community.
