For more than 25 years, members of this organization have worked toward a dream: creating a home worthy of Iowa's Italian American community and the history entrusted to us. This October, we finally get to come home.
I have heard that sentiment from members of our Heritage Council, and I can't think of a better way to describe what October 24–26 will mean. There are people in this organization who have carried this dream for decades. They preserved family histories and artifacts, created programs, hosted events, volunteered countless hours and kept our Italian traditions alive.
