Hollywood screening for Final Broadcast: the first film by N41 Studios presented in Los Angeles during Oscar Week

The film Final Broadcast, directed by Davide Ippolito and produced by N41 Studios, was presented in Los Angeles during Oscar Week at the Eastwood Performing Arts Center.

The event marked the film’s first official screening outside the festival circuit and another step in its international journey, following its debut at the Big Apple Film Festival in New York. The film has also screened and received recognition at numerous festivals around the world, including Tokyo, Athens, Denver, Nashville, Seattle, Miami, and New Orleans.

Final Broadcast also represents the first production from the Italian American company N41 Studios, founded by Davide Ippolito together with Emanuele Scamardella. The two are credited on the project as executive producers alongside Simone D’Andria.

The film stands out for its stripped-down, claustrophobic narrative structure that echoes the aesthetic of “found footage” cinema, combining real time storytelling, the language of television, and an apocalyptic setting. The story unfolds entirely inside a television studio during a live broadcast that chronicles the final hours of the world.

Through this narrative device, Final Broadcast reflects on the role of media in an era dominated by nonstop information, focusing on themes such as the construction of reality through television, the amplification of collective fear by the media, and the fragility of the truths we are told. All of this unfolds against the backdrop of today’s major global tensions – geopolitical crises, nuclear threats, and worldwide emergencies.

The film’s score was composed by Davide Pannozzo, while Jacopo Rampini is among the lead actors.

“Bringing Final Broadcast to Los Angeles is a very important moment for us,” said director and producer Davide Ippolito. “This project was born from the desire to explore our relationship with information and collective fear in an era dominated by media. The language of the film is intentionally direct and immersive, almost as if the audience were watching a broadcast that was never meant to go on air.”

For Emanuele Scamardella, cofounder of N41 Studios and executive producer, the screening also represents a symbolic milestone for the production company: “Final Broadcast is not just the first step for N41 Studios – it is also a clear statement of a new vision for international and multicultural production, one that moves beyond old stereotypes and is not afraid to experiment or to explore reality through new perspectives.”

After its New York premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival and appearances at numerous international festivals, the Los Angeles screening further strengthens the film’s presence in the U.S. cinematic circuit. The global release of Final Broadcast is scheduled before the summer, at the end of the festival season.
