Federation of Italian-American societies of New Jersey celebrates 93rd anniversary with annual dinner dance

The Federation of Italian-American Societies of New Jersey was founded in 1933 to assist and improve the quality of life of the Italians who came to America from Europe to become a lasting part of American Society. This year the Federation will be celebrating our 93rd Anniversary at our Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover, NJ.

We will have a Souvenir Anniversary Journal to commemorate this joyous and historical occasion, and also allow you to congratulate these honorees. Proceeds from this journal will help the Federation to continue our work of promoting our wonderful heritage and by providing awards and scholarships to all students from grammar school through college. Tickets are $125.00 per person. 

We will be honoring Joseph M. Nasello, Sr., UNICO NATIONAL PRESIDENT, with our 2026 President’s Award. Our Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Cavaliere Dame Gilda Battaglia Rorro Baldassari Ed.D,. Avv. Marina Perna Zito will receive our 2026 Italian American Heritage Award. Our Man of the Year will be Livio Cioffi, Police Director of Borough of Roseland and Mary Abate DeBlasio, our Woman of the Year; Salvatore Granata & Salvatore Granata, Jr. of Bella Italia Restaurant of Orange, NJ will receive the Italian Business Leader Award and Isabella Hope Freda is our Lisa Angel’s Award honorees. Very Rev. Cav. Thomas D. Nicastro, V.F., K.H.S. will receive Faithful Service Award.
