The exhibition is curated by Florence Müller and produced by MARI – which acquired the former IMG Arts & Entertainment division – while Agence Galuchat designed the setting. It invites visitors on a multi-sensory journey through the Italian label’s unconventional approach to luxury, defined by elegance and sensuality as well as humour, irreverence and playfulness.
“The exhibition has been newly conceived in dialogue with ICA Miami’s expanded home, reflecting the museum’s role as a space for contemporary visual culture,” ICA stated in a press release. Featuring over 300 items sourced from the label’s archives and latest collections, ‘From the Heart to the Hands’ is “a love letter to Italian culture, which has always been the inspiration” of designers and entrepreneurs Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
