Columbus Day and Italian Heritage in Utica

Columbus Day marks a time to celebrate the contributions of Italian Americans. The Christopher Columbus statue in Utica stands as a symbol of this heritage.

Locally, the Italian Heritage Club of the Mohawk Valley has already held several events, including flag raisings in Rome and Utica, in honor of Italian Heritage Month. This Wednesday, the Italian Heritage Club of the Mohawk Valley will host its annual banquet and celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. at Harts Hill Inn.
