Pasta maker Barilla plans to invest nearly $170 million in a two-phase expansion in Avon, a project expected to create more than 90 jobs. The first phase is estimated at $145 million.
“This expansion marks an important step in our continued growth in the U.S. and underscores our commitment to the town of Avon,” says Fabio Pettenari, Barilla Americas vice president of supply chain.
