WWF Italy is marking 60 years of conservation work, a milestone that reflects decades of environmental projects, public awareness campaigns, and efforts to protect Italy’s natural heritage. Founded in 1966, the organization has grown from a small group of volunteers into one of the country’s most recognized environmental institutions, with thousands of members across all regions.
