Believing in an idea, dreaming of effecting change, relying on one’s own convictions, and striving relentlessly to manifest them into reality – this, fundamentally, is what propelled millions of immigrants to venture to the Americas and roll up their sleeves to carve out their fortunes from nothing.
Yet, it is also the enduring determination that continues to propel countless individuals worldwide, forsaking all to seek a better beginning, often at the expense of relationships, belongings, and even life itself, without any assurance of success. It’s this very resilience that forged an intimate connection between Mother Cabrini and those she served.
