Fuhgeddaboudit! Oxford Dictionary says this N.J. exclamation is a word

A word that is synonymous with the New York and New Jersey dialect thanks to the pop culture portrayal of Italian-Americans in mafia blockbusters and television series is now in the Oxford English Dictionary. Fuhgeddaboudit is among almost 200 new words included in the September update to the dictionary, along with Yoda-like, clickbait and 'Merica.

Often heard in "The Sopranos" and famously spelled out by Johnny Depp in the 1997 crime drama "Donnie Brasco," Fuhgeddaboudit is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as:

In representations of regional speech (associated especially with New York and New Jersey): 'forget about it', used to indicate that a suggested scenario is unlikely or undesirable.
