Wine is a strong reflection of the history, culture and land in a region. And this is especially true when you come from a region of Italy, like Apulia – Puglia, and know how much strength there is behind all the passion, love and knowledge the locals put in everything they do with their hands.
The work of farmers is the heart of the plots of land that run the vast expanses of reddish estate, along the dry white stone walls, hit by the scorching sun. Women are at the centre of this culture, not only as angels of the hearth, but also skilful and confident with land manual work, like harvesting fruit, grain, olives and so on.
