Verona's summer opera festival makes its return to Verona's ancient Roman Arena. Carmen, Aida, Turandot, A Masked Ball, Madama Butterfly, and the unforgettable Romeo et Juliette are the six classics set to run June 20th to September 7th, lighting up the summer nights of this City of Lovers.
Officially opening the season is Lo spettacolo sta per iniziare (or "The Show is About to Begin"), bringing together Italian pop music's biggest stars, who will pay homage to modern opera with performances from Jesus Christ Superstar and Notre-Dame de Paris on June 1st.
