Provolone Valpadana PDO confirms itself as one of the most purchased and appreciated Italian food products of excellence. This is why it is the protagonist of the “Choose your taste, sweet or spicy, only from EU” campaign, a three-year project promoted by the Consortium for the protection of Provolone Valpadana PDO and co-financed by the European Union.
The project aims to improve the degree of recognition of European quality brand products and increase their competitiveness and consumption. To date, Provolone is the seventh Italian branded cheese in terms of volume of certified production and value to production and consumption.
