The United States has become the fourth export market for products made in the Northern Italian city of Padua. During the first nine months of 2014, Padua's exports increased by 16.3%, while in the Veneto region, where the city is located, they grew by 10.7%.
This growth confirms the positive trend that was registered by the city a year ago (+7.4%) and brings exports to a total value of €350 million. It now looks as if the United States will play a key role in further boosting "made in Padua" exports in 2015, and the city is ready to stand up to the challenge.
