Italy wins a lot of medals also in the last day of the Finswimming World Championships 2021 in Santa Marta (Colombia). Our team has, in fact, won two more medals. The first one with Mara Zaghet, who becomes world champion in the 1000 meters monofin, and with Davide Campagnoli, Consuelo Dametto, Leonardo Grimaudo and Carolina Trocca, who get the bronze medal in the 4×1 kilometer relay, behind France and Colombia.
Good results also for Serena Monduzzi and Gaia Savioli, who finished seventh and tenth respectively. In the men's 1000m monofin, on the other hand, ninth position for Davide De Ceglie, then Lorenzo Caronno closed twelfth, with Denis Shao, fourteenth. With these results, Italy ended the World Championship with 7 medals in total: two gold, one silver and four bronze medals, which earned the Azzurri fifth place in the final ranking.
