Six out of ten Italians are confident about their businesses' future, according to a study carried out in the last quarter of 2015 in 34 countries by Randstad, the world's second-largest HR service provider. One out of two Italians (51%) is confident that Italy's economic situation is about to improve. It is a14% increase compared to one year ago (when optimists were just the 37% of the population). The improvement points out a renewed trust in the future, after the downturn recorded one year ago.

It is a very important turnaround, even if Italian economic recovery's trend is still lower than the global average (58%) and almost half of Italian workers still have no confidence in it. The population sample considered in this study consists in people aged between 18 and 67 who work at least 24 hours a week and are paid for their working activity. 405 Italian employees have been interviewed.
