At least two Twin Cities colleges have students in Italy right now. The University of St. Thomas says 52 students are spending their spring semesters in Italy this year. Of those students 37 of them are studying at the university’s Bernardi Campus in Rome.
“Right now, the biggest impact for them is the cancellation of some field trips. The Italian government is advising that we do that for the foreseeable future,” Senior International Officer Tim Lewis says. The university has officially cancelled all out-of-town field trips for the next 30 days.
