It seems a new food trend has recently emerged on the scene, as toast is getting a foothold in our culinary habits with many cookbooks being released in 2015 alone. Easy and quick to prepare, you can show off and experiment with an endless combination of ingredients and toppings, for both classic and exotic toasts.
The Italian way of making toast is the called Bruschetta, a typical antipasto (starter dish) originally consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic, finished with olive oil and salt and nowadays served with the most diverse toppings, such as tomatoes, vegetables, cheese, sausages and more.
