Italian Cafe Gelato will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, June 2 at 21 Chestnut St. in Quincy. The new cafe and gelato shop will join Fuji and KKatie’s Burger Bar at the West of Chestnut development, as previously reported, and will serve a variety of gelato as well as pastries, sandwiches, salads, and a range of coffee and tea beverages.
Two of Italian Cafe Gelato’s co-owners, Denise Santini and Giancarlo Baldini, also own a fast-casual Italian restaurant in downtown Boston, Casa Razdora. Italian Cafe Gelato’s third co-owner, Daniele Buzza, studied traditional gelato-making in Milan.
