An Italian restaurant on the city’s far east side will close for good at the end of the year. Cucina Di Rosa, 1620 N. Bell School Road, will shut down effective Jan. 1, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page. “After several long family conversations, it was decided that our physical health has to be held as a priority in this challenging climate as we are also pursuing other projects, so stay tuned,” the Facebook post reads.
“With all of that being said, we hope that you all have the opportunity to stop in beforehand so we can say thank you for the 6 plus years of being a part of this amazing community.” News of the restaurant’s pending closure prompted an outpouring of emotional responses on social media.
