Announcing the second year of the American Italian Socio-historical Association (AISA). The purpose of this scholarly organization is to present and disseminate social scientific research on the Italian American experience. Specifically, the social scientific research on the Italian American experience would involve the fields of anthropology, economics, history, political science, psychology, and sociology. Another purpose of the organization is to help its members present and publish their papers possibly for tenure reasons and for promotions.
The American Italian Socio-historical Association plans to have its 2nd St. Joseph’s Celebration conference this year on March 15, 2017 from 10:00am to 4:30pm at the President’s Room, Carneseca Arena, St. John’s University.
