The Charitable Italian American Organization awarded $1,000 scholarships to area high school students at its Monday scholarship dinner.

Recipients were Hailey Perkins, of Allen East High; Ashlynn Vieira, of Bath, Rachel Yoder, of Bluffton; Brendan Giambruno-Fuge, of Delphos St. John's; Austin Etzler and Bethany Koch, of Elida, Lauren Harvey, of Apollo Career Center and Elida; Cassidy Bowman, Caitlynn Holobaugh and Andre'as Williams, of Lima Senior; Joseph Cunningham and Tyler Rigg, of Lima Central Catholic; Rachel Keske, of Shawnee; Eric Tedosio, of Apollo and Shawnee; and Rachael Kahle and Daniel Settlemire, of Spencerville.
