Three Elizabeth graduating high school seniors received scholarships from the Elizabeth Chapter of UNICO at a dinner at Costa's Italian Ristorante & Catering on June 9. Olivia Cardet, Gregory Markowitz, and Alyssa Vega joined six others, all of whom shared an Italian heritage.
"Tonight is a monumental night for the Elizabeth Chapter of UNICO as it the first time we have nine scholarship recipients," said UNICO president Nino Quaglia, "We are able to do this in large part from the monies raised at our biggest fundraiser, The Citizen of the Year."
