Mandy Gallo, a family and consumer science education major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from Indiana, has been selected for the Eleanor M. Gallati scholarship. Gallo, the daughter of Rich and Wendy Gallo, is a 2011 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School.
She has also received the M. Jane Segar Longenecker Scholarship, the Susan E. Finley Scholarship and the Sons of Italy Scholarship. She is a dean's list student and provost scholar. She was elected community service chairwoman of the Family and Consumer Sciences Education Student Association as is co-chairwoman of the Student Advisory Board for the College of Health and Human Services, representing family and consumer science education.
