Start the afternoon at 3:45pm at the historic Vogue Theatre with the stunning documentary The Last Italian Cowboys (Gli ultimi butteri), showcasing the Tuscan landscape of Maremma and its butteri(cowboys), who devote themselves to keeping alive the old tradition of raising cows to the highest standards of sustainability. Introducing the movie will be Renato Sardo, founder of Slow Food USA and owner of Baia Pasta, and Sonoma-based writer/photographer Gabrielle Saveri, who recently exhibited her beautiful work on the Italian Cowboys.
