Enel has deployed a large franchise operation to spur installation of renewable power technologies in its home territory of Italy, and it is now eager to replicate its successful venture in the United States.
Francesco Venturini, chief executive of Enel Green Power North America, told EnergyBiz that his company will focus first on California, Texas and Arizona as well as other markets where energy is not cheap and there is support for renewables.
