Festa della Befana is on Sunday, January 7, 2018. The Festa begins at 2:30pm and is open to children ages 3 to 10 years old. This treasured annual event is presented by the Amici d’Italia, Sons of Italy Vancouver, and the Tuscan Association of Oregon
The Festa will be in Carvlin Hall at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, SE 16th and Division Street in Portland. La Befana will give out gift bags to the children as she passes through on her journey to find the Christ Child. Some of this year’s activities include decorating Befanini (star cookies), a magic show, and the reading of the La Befana story!
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Children ages 3 to 10 years old MUST be pre-registered to participate in the fun and registration is limited to 48 children. Please contact Kerry-Lynne Demarinis Brown at [email protected] or call 503-287-3255.
We need your children(s) full name and age, as well as your contact information.
We also need volunteers to help with set up, cookie donations, and clean up after the Festa. Please contact Kerry-Lynne to add your name to the helper’s list!
