Bilateral relations, including political, economic and culturalties, Expo Milano 2015 and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership(TTIP) between the European Union and the United States are the key issues thatwill be raised by Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Claudio Bisogniero, on the occasion of his upcoming mission to Los Angeles (March, 8-10) and, for the first time ever by an Italian Head of Mission, to Oregon (March, 10-11).

On Tuesday March 10 - after meetings in Los Angeles - the Italian Ambassador will be in the Beaver State, where he will meet with Governor of Oregon Kate Brown, and Mayor of Portland Charlie Hales. A visit to the Nike plant, a meeting with local Italian Community leaders, and a visit to the Portland Art Museum – where the exhibition "Italian Style.
