The Italian-American Marching Club will alter its St. Joseph's Day parade route slightly when it heads out for its annual parade March 19. Construction along its planned route has forced a small change that results in the parade beginning at the corner of Decatur and Canal streets.
The rest of the route will follow its usual path through the French Quarter before heading back along Decatur Street to backtrack slightly before ending at the bottom of Poydras Street.
