The passion and fire of Italian Baroque music is highlighted this coming April in Mercury's upcoming spring concerts specially curated by Artistic Director Antoine Plante to shine a spotlight on the orchestra's talented musicians, especially its Concertmaster.
"These concerts are all about the energy and drive of a great violinist. Mercury's own Jonathan Godfrey leads the orchestra playing some of the most beautiful and spirited music by Vivaldi and his contemporaries," stated Mr. Plante, who invited Mr. Godfrey to lead/solo in the April 12 - 15, 2018 performances.
