Culinary Historian Dr. Merrianne Timko will document the history of cuisine in cities such as Florence, Rome, and Venice during the Renaissance at her lecture on Tuesday, October 14, at noon, as part of Lone Star College-Montgomery's Lyceum Speaker's Series.
Dr. Timko, who works as the data standards manager for The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, will also be featured at an 11:30 a.m. reception that same day, just prior to her presentation. The reception and lecture, which are free to the public, will take place in the Music Hall (Building H), on the LSC-Montgomery campus.
