Grant City native Marie L. Alfano's name has made headlines once again for her contributions to humanitarian causes. Alfano was lauded by the Amalgamated Transit Union Division 726 for her fundraising efforts and generosity during the organization's third annual Family Fund Golf Outing and dinner at the Richmond County Country Club, Dongan Hills.

FYI: The Amalgamated Transit Union is the largest labor union representing transit and allied workers in the U.S. and Canada, of which Division 726 is the local chapter. Each year, Division 726 recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to support myriad causes.
