This gala affair will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place, New York. The cocktail hour will begin at 7:30pm followed by dinner and dancing. To commemorate this special event, a Souvenir Journal will be published. With over 250 guests expected to be in attendance, the evening promises to be a social and financial success.

OSDIA National President Vera Ferrara Girolami has graciously accepted our invitation to be one of our special honorees for this evening. President Vera hails from the great Grand Lodge of California and is only the second woman to serve as National President of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America. Her sound vision for OSIA is to focus on liberty, equality, and fraternity—the three words that define our organization. It will be our honor to have her with us to share this wonderful evening.

We will also have the pleasure of awarding Philip Foglia, Esq., with our Special Recognition Award. Mr. Foglia is currently serving as Special Deputy Inspector General in New York State. A proud Italian American, he is the pro bono attorney for the Italian American Legal Defense and Higher Education fund and a founding director of the Child Reach Foundation—an organization dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of children’s health and welfare.
