Italian Welfare League To Host Annual Luncheon To Raise Funds for Italian-American Children in Need

WHO: The Italian Welfare League, in it's 96th year, will host its Annual Autumn in New York fundraiser. The Luncheon will honor Nicholas Caiazzo, Esq., Partner at Wilson Elser, Ippolita Rostagno, CEO and Founder of Ippolita and Joseph Zolfo, Producer of NCIS: New Orleans. The Luncheon Chairwoman for this year's event is Matilda Raffa Cuomo and the Honorary Chairman is Minister Plenipotentiary, Francesco Genuardi, Consul General of Italy.


WHAT: The Italian Welfare League's Annual Autumn in New York Luncheon will kick off with a silent auction, featuring items from world-renowned Italian fashion designers and artisans to vintners and premium pasta and olive oil companies. The auction will be followed by lunch and presentations to the honorees.


WHEN: Saturday, November 5, 2016


WHERE: Metropolitan Club, 1 East 60th Street, New York City


WHY: Proceeds from the Luncheon benefit the Italian Welfare League's "I Nostri Bambini"
program. The program helps children of Italian-American descent who have serious health
conditions, disabilities or have suffered an emotional trauma. The league has donated nearly $1.5
million since 2001.
