Art Exhibit "A Tribute to my Italian heritage"

Jul 08, 2015 305

Saturday, July 11 at 2 p.m. the museum will host the opening of Staten Island artist Annette Marten. This very accomplished artist is talented in many mediums, among them, oil, watercolor, collage, and print making. Her innate talent was enhanced by studying oils at the College of Staten Island with Professor Pat Passlof and printmaking with Herman Zaage at the Art Lab.

Attendance at The Art Students League and The National School of Design in Manhattan allowed practice and refinement of her ability. In 2004 when the tsunami caused major devastation, Annette's watercolor print "Bridging the Gap" raised $2000 from private donations toward the tsunami relief fund.

We invite you to visit the artist's website, if you would like to know more about her: http://www.annettemarten.com/
