More than 200 people celebrated Friday night at Dominic Arillota's home in the city's East Forest Park neighborhood. It was an Italian feast that used to be held in downtown Springfield, but about four years ago the building that hosted it was shut down.
Ever since, Dominic has helped to keep the tradition alive. He told 22News each year it gets bigger and better. He said, "The way we found the statue, the man we found to build the carrier for her, the priest, everything we did it was a miracle."
