The annual Southington Italian-American Festival, which is being held July 24 to 26 on Center Street, will feature live entertainment all weekend for audiences to enjoy. This is the festival's 11th year of promoting and supporting Italian heritage and culture in the community. Festival hours are Friday 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.

Festivalgoers will enjoy diverse food offerings, a homemade wine contest and a children's carnival. On Sunday at 10 a.m., the festival features an outdoor Italian Mass followed by a procession with a statue of the Virgin Mary. Festivalgoers are welcome to grab something to eat and sit in front of the stage or to the side under tents in order to experience the festival sounds and sights.
