Columbus Day isn't just for Italians anymore. In an effort to make Columbus Day, the annual celebration of Italian heritage, more inclusive, several local Italian heritage groups have combined to organize a new event.
The 2017 New Columbus Day Celebration will be held on Monday and will honor all immigrants who have found their way to Colorado. Four individuals will be included in the event's inaugural hall of fame induction: Sam Corsentino, Ray Kogovsek, Vincent Massari and Charlie Musso.
