The Lorain International Festival will hold an open house at the Lorain Learning Center of Lorain County Community College from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 25, during the parade. Lorain County Community College has been chosen as the spotlight organization and will showcase the class offerings and services available in the city of Lorain. Attendees can use the computer lab and pick up bags to collect candy from the parade.
The event is free and open to the public. The Lorain International Festival is held June 23-25 and includes an Italian American cultural night, breakfast, princess pageant, parade and festival including music and dance. This year’s spotlight nationality is Italian. The event is sponsored by the Italian American Veterans, Post 1, in Lorain. For more information, visit www.loraininternational.com.
