"Rumore bianco" (White Noise) will be screened in Italian with English subtitles at 6:30 p.m. on June 3 in the Claudia Cassidy Theater on the second floor of the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. Directed by Alberto Fasulo, the 2008 documentary focuses on the Tagliamento River — which flows through an isolated valley from the Alps to the Adriatic — and the people who live alongside it.
The screening is free and seating is limited, so early arrival is recommended. The screening is co-sponsored by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura as part of a weekly film series sponsored by the Chicago International Film Festival.
