Italy's Teatro dei Piedi -- "Theatre of Feet" -- is bringing its family-friendly entertainment to the Beverly Arts Center this weekend, Jan. 20 through Jan. 22.
Part mime and part contortion, Teatro dei Piedi stages characters whose stories are by turn romantic, ironic, poetic and ridiculous with their feet. The artists, Laura Kibel and Veronica Gonzalez, put their hands, feet and knees together to create extraordinarily articulate characters. Performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20; 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21; and 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.
