Amelia (Pincherle Moravia) Rosselli is mainly remembered as the mother of two anti-fascists heroes, Carlo and Nello, who were murdered during Fascism.
However, Amelia was the first female writer for the theatre in Italy at the turn of the 19th century and a prominent intellectual woman until the affirmation of Fascism in the 1920s.
