Tyler Terango waits all year for one weekend to arrive. That weekend is in September when the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival returns to Clarksburg. This year will be the 37th year for the festival, and Terango, who is the chairman of the board for the event, said it amazes him how the event continues to grow.
"For me, I'm the youngest chairman ever on the board," Terango said. "For the five years I've been a part of the festival, we grow (each year). It's amazing to see everyone from the community come together and celebrate our heritage." The West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival will take place Friday, Sept. 4, through Sunday, Sept. 6, on Main Street in downtown Clarksburg.
